Stardust Overdrive Special Edition combines two powerful and highly sought-after cards ('Charge of the Light Brigade' and 'Tempest Magician') with three packs (9 cards per pack) of the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Trading Card Game booster pack series, Stardust Overdrive! Each pack could possibly contain game cards of multiple levels of rarity, along with new cards providing support for the 'Earthbound Immortals,' 'Fortune Lady,' 'Blackwings,' 'Koa'ki Meiru,' 'Six Samurai' and 'Lightsworns' Archetypes. Also, a number of the cards included work with the 'Warrior's Strike' Structure Deck.
